Review on Improvements to the Safety Level of Coal Mines by Applying Intelligent Coal Mining

China suffers the worst coal mine disasters in world. Lots of miners lose their lives or suffer occupational injury. Fortunately, is developing vigorously intelligent mining, which combination traditional mining and latest technology. Mining expects to relieve solve safety, health intensive labor issues ensure energy security by applying mining. This paper fully reviews promotion safety. Firstly, a brief history introduced. Then safety motivation discussed four perspectives, including current tendency, positive impact mechanized on conception “Mechanization Replacement Automation Reduction”, government initiatives. The prevention control scheme major matching are also reviewed present paper, gas extraction, outburst/rock-burst prevention, real-time monitoring water diversion fissure zone. Finally, impacts evaluated. Compared with longwall face, number cutting shift reduced from 20~30 5~7, working environment greatly improved. statistics have shown that employees large mines, mortality rates per 106 tons output, deaths decreased 33%, 72.2%, 66.9% during period rapid development technology (2016–2021). In future, more key technologies management skills should be introduced, aiming at workless intrinsic mine. provides way for researchers around world understand tendency China.
